One of our premium XL models is the MapaWall Rosewood, the MapaWall Rosewood Santos to be exact. Rosewood Santos is a rare wood native to Brazil. As depicted in the product photo and these images from previous clients, this wood shows brown, black, and occasionally reddish tones within its grain.
In the photo on the left, the XL map is shown with a dark oil finish, while in the photo on the right (installed on a blue wall), the map is untreated. The color of the MapaWall Rosewood as delivered matches the product image. Applying a matte varnish enhances the richness of the grain. And upon request, we also offer gloss or high gloss varnishing options.
All maps, except for the Grigio Orobico marble, come engraved with country borders by default. The relatively dark hue of Rosewood Santos ensures that the engraved black country borders are subtly visible. Like all our wooden world maps, this XL map is magnetic on the surface, allowing small neodymium pin-magnets to be placed anywhere on the map. This feature is ideal for travellers looking to mark their journeys or for corporate offices to pinpoint their worldwide distributors.
In the creation of these intricate country borders, we rely on high-quality laser, guaranteeing precision and the incorporation of exquisite details. Furthermore, the delicate contours of our MapaWall world maps are also achieved through the application of state-of-the-art CO2 laser technology. Glass spacers support our islands, and a robust metal frame is securely positioned behind the map to eliminate any risk of distortion or bending.
We've joined forces with the esteemed shipping provider UPS Capital to guarantee the secure and timely delivery of your product. Our dedication knows no boundaries, as we consistently employ packaging methods for all MapaWall products. For that extra layer of assurance, we provide insurance for your shipment.
Our product selection is masterfully crafted to ensure a seamless installation experience. Additionally, when the occasion arises to temporarily disassemble your MapaWall world map, whether for decorating or changing paint colors, the process remains straightforward and trouble-free.
