While our assortment of colored magnets seamlessly complements nearly all of our MapaWall world maps, their adherence may vary depending on the map's surface. Optimal performance is achieved on our steel MapaWalls, available in Stainless Steel and Black Industrial Steel, providing a robust foundation for these moderately heavy magnets. The magnetic strength of neodymium is particularly drawn to the solid steel surface, a principle that extends to our acrylic maps, featuring a 2 mm steel backing for effective magnet adherence across the entire surface.
For our wooden MapaWall world maps, we recommend utilizing our nickel-plated neodymium magnets. These magnets, lightweight in nature, adhere exceptionally well to the wooden surface. This is attributed to the exceptionally thin iron-based layer beneath the wood, which limits its capacity to support substantial weight.
We use UPS Capital, a reputable courier to get your MapaWall out to you quickly and in the best condition. We ensure our product is hand-packaged carefully to minimise any risk of damage when it is on its way to you.
