World Map Rosewood XL

One of our premium XL models is the MapaWall Rosewood, the MapaWall Rosewood Santos to be exact. Rosewood Santos is a rare wood native to Brazil. As depicted in the product photo and these images from previous clients, this wood shows brown, black, and occasionally reddish tones within its grain.

In the photo on the left, the XL map is shown with a dark oil finish, while in the photo on the right (installed on a blue wall), the map is untreated. The color of the MapaWall Rosewood as delivered matches the product image. Applying a matte varnish enhances the richness of the grain. And upon request, we also offer gloss or high gloss varnishing options.

All maps, except for the Grigio Orobico marble, come engraved with country borders by default. The relatively dark hue of Rosewood Santos ensures that the engraved black country borders are subtly visible. Like all our wooden world maps, this XL map is magnetic on the surface, allowing small neodymium pin-magnets to be placed anywhere on the map. This feature is ideal for travellers looking to mark their journeys or for corporate offices to pinpoint their worldwide distributors.
